...life, that is. to be healthy again! :) feel like a million bucks. of course, it helps going to bed around 10 a couple of nights in a row, too. thankfully, neither of the other kids has, thus far, come down with this stomach bug, so...knock on a lot of wood for me!!
have to share this story with you that i heard at church this morning. the sermon was about what's in a name and part of that is one of the names we're given when we're saved, forgiven.... the story goes something like this...
...
a man claims to talk to God and hear Him speaking to him quite often.
the guy's friend doesn't believe him, so the friend asks the man to prove it.
the friend says to the man, "Next time you talk to God, ask Him what I confessed in my last confession."
a week or so later, the friends run into each other again and the friend asks the man, "Did you talk to and hear from God?"
the man says, "Yes! I did!"
the friend asks, "Well, did you ask Him what I asked you to ask Him?"
the man says, "Well, yes I did!"
"And what did He say?" the friend questions.
the man says, "God says He forgot!"
that's the beauty of God's forgiveness. once we confess, He forgives and He forgets... period. pretty powerful.
...
here's a LO from the other day... this one called Hawai'i. we had a wonderful trip there late last year and can't wait to go back. this is based off a (free) Paislee Press template with a bunch of other goodies... (credits here).
here's what inspired me..
i have a copy of Claudine Hellmuth's new book, The Scrapbooker's Creativity Kit. it rocks. it's got a lot of inspirational layouts as well as two little packs of cards. these cards have colors and prompts to get you started on some work. all of the MM Masters are doing challenges last week and this coming with cards we've drawn from the stacks, so be sure to check out the Master's blog for some more great layouts!

yeah! a book review! glad you are feeling better.
